Part of a healthy lifestyle is undergoing screenings for cancer. This includes visiting a dermatologist for a skin cancer screening or “skin check.” These appointments should be scheduled annually to allow the ShadeTree Dermatology of Cocoa Beach and Rockledge, Florida team to spot the early signs of cancer and ensure prompt treatment. If you have scheduled a skin cancer check, read to learn what to expect during your visit.
Protect the skin from any sun damage by wearing high-SPF sunblock daily.
